World Paddle Association SUP Instructor Certification Southwest Florida

Become a Certified Paddle Board Instructor  |  Southwest Florida Certification Classes

Ready to take your paddling skills to the next level — or turn your love of stand-up paddle boarding into something you can teach others?

Buddha Voodoo Yoga’s Jodi Ziajka, WPA Level II Instructor and WPA Level II Instructor Trainer Sheree Lincoln have teamed up to offer World Paddle Association Level I SUP Instructor Certification in Southwest Florida.

Our certification sessions combine hands-on, on-the-water training with the knowledge and skills you need to become a safer, more confident and capable paddle oard instructor. Read on, below, for more information and pricing.

September & October Certification Sessions

You don’t have to wait until Sheree returns to Florida to get started.

During September and October, Jodi is available in Southwest Florida for the on-the-water portion of the Level I SUP Teacher Certification.

Jodi and Sheree then team up for the workbook and instructional portions of the certification, allowing you to benefit from both instructors’ experience while completing the program.

This option gives Southwest Florida paddlers the flexibility to begin their certification when it works for them rather than waiting for a scheduled group class.

November & December 2026

During November and December, Jodi and Sheree will both be in Southwest Florida and available for in-person WPA Level I Instructor Certification sessions and your WPA Level I Instructor Certification or WPA Level II instructor training with Sheree Lincoln.

Training will be offered in the Bonita Springs Dog Beach and Lovers Key area, with dates arranged according to conditions and participant availability.

Whether you’re preparing to teach professionally, adding SUP instruction to an existing fitness or wellness business, or simply want the education and skills that come with professional instructor training, we’ll work with you throughout the certification process.

What Your WPA Paddle Board Certification Training Includes

Your WPA Level I Instructor Certification combines classroom/workbook education with practical on-the-water training, including paddle skills, instructor knowledge, safety, rescue techniques and the fundamentals of working responsibly with students on the water.

Our goal isn’t simply to get you through a certification. We want you to leave the program understanding how to create a safer, more confident experience for the people you’ll eventually teach.
